Andy leads 322 Boots Pharmacies and stores across Wales, Merseyside and West Midlands for Boots UK.
Andy is a pharmacist and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and sits on the board of the Welsh Retail Consortium, Business in the Community’s (BITC) Wales Leadership Board, and the board of governors for Ysgol Bro Edern, a Welsh medium comprehensive in Cardiff.
Andy is originally from Carmarthenshire, a fluent Welsh speaker and married to Nia with two boys, Tomos and Daniel. Sport is important to Andy and he finds following rugby at all levels hugely enjoyable, from coaching St Peter’s under-15s to supporting the Scarlets and Wales.
He says: “I feel being part of the BITC leadership board is a huge privilege working with like-minded business leaders with the aim of using the power of business and its connectivity to make a meaningful difference to people across Wales.”
