Anna Jakobsen has over 17 years of experience working within sustainability and strategy consulting, most recently with EY’s sustainability advisory practice where she led large, multi-stakeholder projects spanning most geographies and sectors – all sharing the common purpose of making positive societal contributions.
Prior to joining EY, she worked for numerous consultancies and inter-governmental and not-for-profit organisations in New York, Brussels, Stockholm, Amsterdam and London. Anna joined Business in the Community (BITC) to set up a new Directorate in May 2019 and leads teams across three workstreams: product and service development and innovation, impact measurement and evaluation, and insights and data analytics.
She has a master of laws with a further master’s degree in international human rights law. She is passionate about working with businesses to create a more sustainable, equitable and prosperous future for all and excited about the opportunity for companies to work collectively to drive transformative change at pace and scale.
Anna is a founding Trustee of the Merton-based youth charity UpTown, providing support to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Outside of the office, she enjoys outdoor sports including running, skiingand tennis and has completed numerous challenges to raise money for charitable causes.
