Deven Vedhera is a Director in Deloitte LLP’s Newcastle Audit & Assurance Practice. Deloitte is a multinational professional services network, one of the “big four” accounting organisations.
Deven was born, raised and educated in Newcastle, and achieved a degree in accounting at Northumbria University
In 2008, upon completion of his studies, he joined the Deloitte graduate programme where he gained his ICAEW qualification.
Deven specialises in audit services to the private equity (PE) sector, working with portfolio companies and private equity houses across the north east and nationally. He has experience of industries across all the different stages of the PE investment lifecycle.
During his time with Deloitte, Deven has worked with several of the region’s largest and most influential companies. He has advised on transactions and initial public offerings, and works closely with the wider Deloitte PE team across corporate finance, transaction services and tax.
Deven is passionate about the north east and the role business plays in shaping future generations via community involvement and is heavily involved with Deloitte’s local responsible business programme.
