Matt Oakley is a senior leader with a career spanning 30 years of delivery primarily in the health and public service sectors.
Matt has extensive experience of delivering large-scale change programmes and leading the development and management of a portfolio of work across multiple clients. Matt is skilled in designing and delivering innovative, outcome-based, commercial propositions that reflect the changing nature of government’s Crown and Commercial Services. He is recognised for strong collaboration, building effective teams with deep client insight and establishing lasting relationships.
Key clients for which Matt has been the lead executive include, among others, HMRC, NHS, Defra and the DWP.
Already a member of the North East’s Dynamo Advisory Board, Matt lives in the region and has a passion for the area and the community. It is that that has inspired him to join Business in the Community North East Leadership Board.
In his spare time Matt enjoys the outdoor life, cooking, and following sport.
