Race at Work Survey 2021

Business in the Community’s (BITC) Race at Work 2021 Survey in collaboration inYouGov, offers participants the chance to share experiences of race at work, and lend their voice to drive change on workplace equality.

The survey is sponsored byCo-op,Enterprise Rent-A-Car,KPMG,Sainsbury’s,Shell, and supported by theDepartment for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

The survey is open until30 June 2021.

About the survey

Over 24,000 people completed the survey in 2015 and 2018. This year the survey is focused on understanding the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and includes new questions on allyship in order to:

  • gain a better understanding of employees’ experience and perception of leadership
  • gain fair access to opportunities to develop and progress at work, effectiveness HR, D&I, employee network and resource groups
  • access insight into employees in your organisation’s sector and region in the UK’s largest survey on race at work

Who can complete the survey?

  • Anyone aged 16 or over and currently employed or self-employed in the UK (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland).
  • We are keen to hear about the experiences of race at work from people of all ethnicities, including white employees.
  • All responses are anonymous

The Race at Work 2021 Survey is managed independently byYouGovon behalf of BITC. It is carried out in accordance with theMarket Research Society Code of Conduct, and complies with英国数据保护立法.

RACE AT WORK SURVEY 2021 UNIQUE IDENTIFIER

A bespoke link is available to all employers in the UK wishing to participate in the survey. The unique identifier will enable your organisation to gather insights from your employees’ experiences as well as benchmark against peers in your sector, and the wider nation.
The unique identifier is available on request with a charge to access data.

  • Race at Work 2015: influencing UK policy and practice, laying the foundations for the independent, government commissionedMcGregor-Smith-Review: Race in the Workplace, published in 2017.

A report,Race at Work 2021 Scorecard Report: McGregor-Smith Review – 4 Years On, sharing this year’s survey findings will be published in2021年10月duringBlack History Month.
