BITC calls on responsible businesses to prioritise the health and wellbeing of their people, play their part in the national effort, and transform the nation’s long-term health and wellbeing at work.

Mental health at work commitment

A call to action within the toolkit COVID-19: employee health and wellbeing is for employers to make theMental Health at Work commitment.

The commitment outlines six standards. A set of actions that any organisation can follow to improve and support the mental health of its people.

By signing the commitment, organisations declare publicly that mental health at work is a priority and join the growing number of likeminded employers, businesses, and organisations across the UK.1

The BITC Wellbeing campaign

BITC defines “wellbeing” as the mutually supportive relationship between an individual’s mental, physical, social, and financial health and their personal wellbeing.
